CBS Science Club

As part of the student initiative, we have been hosting science club interaction sessions at CBS, with guest speakers, called RENDEZVOUS, to enrich students from all streams with ideas apart from what they learn in course work. Most of the students are in the process of deciding their future research endeavors, including fields of study, and familiarizing with multidisciplinary and fundamental components of basic research.

Rendezvous seeks a chattier, interactive and story-like setting, involving the motivations, challenges and the other procedural aspects that essentially comprise fundamental research, apart from its final outcomes.

Student sessions are aimed to share experiences and to pose and discuss problems that the students might be working on or studying.

CBS Science Club also organizes telecasts where documentaries, biopics and live telecasts of important scientific proceedings are shown.
